Functional Bathroom & Hidden Laundry Remodel in Abington Township, PA

This Abington Township, PA bathroom remodel reimagined an oversized, underutilized space into a highly functional, timeless design. Removing the existing platform feature opened up the layout — and the expanded footprint made room for something clever: a dedicated laundry area integrated right into the bathroom, with storage that disappears into the cabinetry for a polished, built-in look.

A larger, custom-designed shower became the focal point, with clean-lined glass and classic tile selections that elevate the space while staying refined and enduring.

The whole design is grounded in a timeless black-and-white scheme — crisp contrast, elegant simplicity. The result is a bathroom that feels sophisticated, organized, and purposeful, where classic style and modern functionality work beautifully for everyday life.

The space is finished with a clean, timeless palette and carefully coordinated materials throughout. The walls are painted in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound (SW 7004) in an eggshell finish, with the ceiling in a flat finish and all moulding and doors in a semi-gloss of the same color for a crisp, cohesive look. A feature wall showcases Daltile Memoir Petal Black tile, accented with custom #640 Arctic White grout for contrast. The vanity cabinetry is a taller Galena Square style in an Onyx finish, paired with chrome Top Knobs hardware and topped with Cambria Falconwood quartz countertops featuring a subtle pencil edge. White rectangular Hydrapro undermount sinks are complemented by Kohler Purist cross-handle faucets in polished chrome.

The shower blends classic and modern elements, with main walls clad in Daltile Linear 6” x 18” Biscuit Gloss tile in a subway pattern, accented by a single band of Daltile Stagecraft Kaleidoscope 6” x 6” matte black mosaic for visual interest. The shower floor features a Daltile Keystones Biscuit and Black dot windmill mosaic, all unified with Arctic White grout. Fixtures include a Kohler Purist valve trim, shower arm, and a Moen chrome showerhead for a refined, functional setup. A dedicated laundry area is seamlessly integrated with built-in shelving and wood countertops, finished to match the trim, maintaining a cohesive and intentional design throughout.
