Perez Design Build Remodel Team:
A sincere thank you for the excellent work provided by your firm at my home. My home project encompassed design, build, and remodel and included a two story plus basement addition, remodeling of existing kitchen and bathroom, refinishing hardwood floors, new roof, new gutters, new siding, and two porches.
I would like to recognize the following Perez team members: Chris Scarlata, Project Consultant; David Balko, Design Technician; and Tracy Cosgrove, Design Manager. Chris, David, and Tracy intuitively understood my preferences. They listened to my thoughts and quickly ascertained what my “style” was.
My initial encounter was with Chris, who is a very welcoming and reassuring individual to launch the process. Chris determined the scope of my project, listened carefully, and shepherded me along to the next step with David.
David prepared the blueprints and models as we worked through the design process. He also listened carefully and was quick to know what my answer would be when he had a question for me or some options to present. One of the features of my addition included a loft which was a suggestion from David. Guests to my home are absolutely impressed by the loft and the attractive use of space. A special thank you to David for that design idea!
After the plans were in place, I met with Tracy. Tracy listened to my thoughts and understood intuitively what I was looking for. She quickly discerned my preferences and was able to offer suggestions and options to meet my needs. The details suggested by Tracy provided the finishing touches to make my project come together.I commend Chris, David, and Tracy for listening to my thoughts and carefully guiding me to achieve my project goals.
The combination of Chris, David, and Tracy resulted in my renovation and addition integrating flawlessly with my pre-remodel home. We were able to combine existing features with the new. Examples include using my mother’s farmhouse sink in the remodeled kitchen and maintaining existing archways and woodwork throughout the home. It was important to me that the finished project would look seamless.
Because my project was extensive, working with Perez was a tremendous relief. I did not have to find multiple contractors to accomplish my goals. Once we finalized the plans, Perez took over all that responsibility.
As we moved into the work phase, my Project Manage Dave Christensen became my key point of contact. Once again Dave listened, answered my questions, and made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible; this was quite a task given we were in the middle of the COVID crisis. Dave was always professional and when I started a question with “Do you think we could….” he never grimaced but thoughtfully addressed each inquiry. Due to his many years of experience, he was able to avert potential problems and offer workable suggestions. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with someone as skilled as Dave.
In addition to Chris, David, Tracy, and Dave, I would like to extend a sincere thanks to all who worked behind the scenes to make my project successful.
I would also like to recognize the high quality of the trade contractors. Perez selects only the best and that was reflected in all the teams that worked on my project. From demolition to completion, each team was professional, courteous, and did top notch work. Several of the teams felt more like family helping with a project, which represents the quality of the teams Perez works with. They each deserve recognition for their professional quality work.
In summary, I highly recommend Perez DBR. The Perez team as well as the trade contractors were exceptional. Throughout my project I had no worries and knew that everything was taken care of from start to finish.
