Our Process
START THE CONVERSATION:
We visit with you in your home to understand your goals, determine the rough size and scope of the project, and work to understand your priorities and tastes so the direction of your project fits your lifestyle from the beginning.
INITIAL IDEAS & ASSOCIATED COSTS:
Based on your input and our ideas, we will put together a basic project scope with a projected investment range. If it makes sense to you to move forward, the design phase begins!
DESIGN PHASE:
Our design team will put together conceptual designs for your review in 3-D. The purpose is to show you a variety of ideas so we can determine a solid direction. WARNING: You may see things you did not consider or think were possible!
DESIGN REFINEMENT & PRODUCT SELECTION:
There is no need to run store to store! You will work with our designers to select all of your finishes in our full product showroom. Our designers have specifically brought materials in to make our designs and your project unique.
ALL COSTS DETERMINED:
It is important to us that you know exactly what your project is going to cost so you do not have to worry about cost over runs during construction. As the design phase is in progress, you will be updated regularly on the current project cost as designed so you have maximum control of your budget.
FINAL DOCUMENTS & PERMITS:
At the completion of the design phase, you will have a complete set of construction drawings, specifications, bank documents (if financing is needed), building or remodeling agreement, and everything you will need to move to the construction phase. We will secure all of the permits, inspections, or engineering needed
for your project.
PLANNING & SCHEDULING:
We realize we work where you live! So aligning a streamlined construction schedule that is least disruptive to your life is vital! We prepare a very detailed schedule so your project is completed with as little set backs as possible.
CONSTRUCTION BEGINS!
Our daily communication will keep you informed every step of the way. Don’t worry about the punch list! Our goal is that you don’t have one!
