Nick Perez, Sr. Founder, Co-Owner, Sales Manager

Nick Sr. learned construction skills by attending trade school on the G.I. bill. He cut his professional teeth working for the largest non-union contractor in New Jersey before moving to the Tunkhannock area in 1972. While Nick and his wife Elaine raised a family of five, Nick Sr. founded Perez Design Build Remodel in 1981 with the intention of becoming a leader in the remodeling industry. His commitment to uncompromising quality and 100% customer satisfaction has been the backbone of our company from the start. Adam Perez Co-Owner, General Manager

Adam grew up working in the family business in the Tunkhannock area.  He attended East Stroudsburg University in the architecture program, then returned to Perez DBR full time. Adam is the utility infielder of the company, assisting in all departments.  Adam also steadily volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. Eric Roofer, Carpenter

Eric has been with the company since late 2004. He is a steady part of our team and has the ability to switch tasks in order to provide help to carpenters on different jobs.  Eric is currently in training to become a Lead.  He is certified through CertainTeed Corporation as a Master Shingle Applicator and a Master Craftsman Siding Applicator and GAF Corperation as a Master Shingle Elete installer.  Eric has also volunteered his time to help construct sheds for our local baseball association and steadily volunteeres for Habitat for Humanity.

 

Lynn Office Manager

Lynn started with us in October of 2003.  She is our best foot forward as all inquiries come to her first.  Lynn handles many administrative details for our company including accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer service and general office duties.  She also serves as a liaison between our departments, clientele and suppliers, as well as spearheading our sales and marketing efforts with direct mail and print advertising. Dave C. Production Manager

Dave has been with us since June of 2008 and has been a great addition to our team. Dave has 15+ years’ experience in the residential replacement market.  He is a terrific production manager and a sound leader.  To date Dave holds a 100% satisfaction rate on his projects.

 

David Design Technician

David is currently a student at Penn State University pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology.  He works full-time while attending school part-time.  David is well versed in Real View, AutoCAD, Chief Architect and SketchUp software programs.  He is a member of the Design Team and is responsible for creating construction documents for permitting as well as developing design ideas.  David was a 1st place district winner in SkillsUSA for Architectural Drafting and also competed at the state level. Rich Apprentice, Roofer

Rich began here in March 2007 and works with our roofing crew.  He has aspirations of becoming a lead roofer and running his own team.  Rich works side-by-side with our roofers every day and has proven himself to be a valuable addition to our crew.  Rich is highly motivated and stays on task.

 

George Consultant

George is another great addition to our company here in 2008.  George has 12+ years’ experience in home improvements and shows a dedication to our customer that makes him fit right in here at Perez.  George is our first consultant whose last name is not Perez, and we’re very proud to have him represent us. Mike Carpenter

Mike is a resident of Luzerne County and a strong addition to our company.  Mike has 8 years’ experience, is Flat Roof Certified and is our go-to guy on the flats.  He has a strong work ethic and knows how to get things done. 

 

Adam Lead Carpenter

I started at Perez Construction in ‘05. I am the youngest carpenter here but don’t let it fool you, I have worked my way up to where I am today and couldn’t be happier. I’ve been doing construction since high school and have found my nac. I am very proud to say that I am part of this great company and look forward to the long haul. I am a certified Master Craftsman Installer for Restoration Millwork. I am also 1 out of 190 certified VSI ( Vinyl Siding Installers ) in Pennsylvania.

 

Brittany Administrative Assistant

Brittany graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and started as in intern with Perez in the summer of 2010. Brittany picks up the miscellaneous office tasks to help lighten the load on everyone in the office. Her responsibilities include answering phones, editing documents, filling in for our office manager as needed, and keeping up with our  company’s ongoing marketing efforts. George Lead Carpenter

George began working in his grandfather's wood-working shop at a young age and was using power-tools by 8 years old. George started his professional career after the Agnes flood in 1972. Early on in his career, he learned that he preferred kitchen remodeling and fancy trim. George owned his own trim and remodeling business for 30 years. He designs and builds custom mantels, pediments including sunbursts, custom paneling and stairs. He is certified in lead renovation and has been an active participant in Habitat for Humanity for 15 years. George frequently reads, attends classes, studies and experiments to improve and update his skills.

Scott Carpenter

Scott has 3 years of experience installing wood products from furniture to decorative ornamentation. He also has experience installing windows, moulding, and trim in a commerical setting.  Scott worked 5 and a half years with his father in his construction company doing remodels, new homes, installs, pole barns, etc. Now Scott is a contributing member on our kitchen crew, studying and training for the lead carpenter position or any other duties that can help Perez get jobs done successfully. Cabinetry installation, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and flooring are just a few skills Scott has brought to us.

 

Kevin Carpenter

Upon graduating from high school in 2003, Kevin began his training in the building industry. He completed 3 years in the building trades program and is NOCTI certified. Kevin worked with his family business until his departure in August of 2010 and began working for Perez soon after in September 2010. His skills range from roofing to trim work. He considers himself very talented as a siding installer. He is looking forward to learning and growing with the Perez DBR team.
